here is my problem... when i put it in gear it still feel like its in neutural... how do i fix it?

 

that pin on the shift linkage? or maybe its on backwards

get under your car and I gurantee your missing the bushing (much like a washer) that goes between the shift linkage and the botom of your shifter....whoever took the shifter off at one point did not but it back on...I had or should I say have this same problem...washers will do the trick just make sure there the right size....

 

are you talking about the one that goes on both sides of the shifter itself, next to the bearings/
