Default Help with a problem after some mods please!!

I just finished doing the following to my '95 GSR

-Skunk2 intake manifold
-AEM fuel rail with stock injectors
-B&M regulator
-new timing belt and water pump
-Unorthodox's underdrive crank pulley
-AEM adjustable cam gears

I set the fuel pressure at about 40-46 PSI (factory spec)
The AEM cam gears are set at 2 degree advance on both as per recommendations for NA engines.

Timing was reset after all of this to factory spec -16deg (the notch on the new pulley)

Everything seems to run quite well, nice whistle from the new intake as RPM climbs, great upper end pull.

One problem...with wide open throttle starting from stop, i get a sudden suckout in power in 2nd gear at about 3000 rpm. Just stops accelerating!! Then i shift into 3rd and accelerates just fine once the rpms get above 3000 or so.

Any ideas what to look for??

thanks

one thing, is that +2 setting isn't correct across the board for all motors. I've sure you've heard that the same motors respond differently to the same mods. Generally though, you want to retard the exaust cam and advance then intake cam. I'd put the cams at 0,0 until you fix your problem. -C
