help with power steering rack problem

i recently replaced the seals in my powersteering rack, it's all back together now and i'm not getting any more bubbles in the fluid, but it still feels like there is air in the rack.
when i turn the wheel to the left it feels just as it did before the rack was opened, but when i turn to the right it feels verry loose and a bit inconsistent, and there is a faint clunking after every full turn of the wheel.
could there still be air in the lines , what could the clunk noise be?

1st have you ever flushed your ps fluid if you have a high milage car youcould have deteriorated ps fluid vausing a inconsistant feel.
did you bleed the ps system after the reinstall.
did you check the inner / outter tie rod ends when changing the outer rack seal.
also you could just have a worn pinion or rack gear making it fel incosistant make note of where in the steering rotation it feels incosistant. you might just need a rack. other than that all there is is a pump and the psp switch

all of the componants were drained and new fluid was used.
i bled out as much as i could before driving it, as i said there were no more bubbles in the resevoir.
i replaced one of the tie rod ends and replaced the outer boot on the other one, all of the seals are fresh from honda.
the pinion and rack teeth did not show any notable wear.
it just feels like there is air on one side of the rack center seal.
