Default Help for next mod on my S2000

hi all...

i read for a looong almost all most important treath in this forum.....but i need to ask u some things..

i want to work on my motor now..and i dunno if going Fi (with a comptech SC) or going N/A..
i mean.. i know that with the SC i will gain much more power but how about the driveability? i'll need to buy something else for the SC like ECU, Heades or it's plug&play? and what about the reliability of the F20? i will broke soon or not? any particular cure to give to the motor? (i take care my motor like my GF )

i'm often at trak day, so my motor will be a lot of time in race conditions... it will broke soon or not? and for track day it s better SC or NA?

if i'll go NA i will buy Spoon Headers, Mugen Intake and ECU Spoon.. and some titanium exaust..

what do u think? plz help me to solve this bad doubt..

thx all and i hope to not go flamed

P.S. sorry for bad english

I think you should seriously look at an upgraded clutch and flywheel combination. It's a well known fact that the stock S2000 clutch wears out easily when put through hard driving.

If you want some serious tunning out of your car i would recmonend the HKS F-CON Pro V ECU, but i would'nt consider this as your next mod but it will benfit you in both worlds of NA and FI.

My friend has a comptech SC on his s2k, drivability is excellent its been raced before and never has any problems. I recomend it if you want more power, exhaust will barely get you any power, you make more power with exhaust because the aftermarket one jsut weighs less. Get the charger it is plug and play.

I dont even think the ECU is even needed for the minor mods. Id look into a VAFC for simple tuning

depending on your budget, look into the HyTech, Toda Racing or Amuse headers ... those are the best.

The intake and exhaust best I've seen (bang for buck and performance) is the comptech icebox and the spugen exhaust. I personally use the ultimate racing exh but I got it for real cheap.

You may wanna think about adding a bit more compression ala mugen headgasket or stock honda with middle layer taken out and sealed wiht copperspray. The Toda cams are an excellent mod, they have more duration vs more lift when compared to stock.

The next mod is the ECU, I recommend the AEM but you need a more aggressive map than the one on AEM's site. You can always get the mugen one as well.

Oh, don;t follow the internet mumbo jumbo about the car already "maxxed" out from the factory, it's not, it has a lot more potential
