Alright guys, here my problem Ill spell it all out for you.
I have a 94 Ls and we just dropped a b16a sir -ii engine (jdm) into it.GSR tranny. Everything runs fine, no throwing codes of any kind. BUT theres no VTEC. I tried the usual symptom checks such as connecting power to the vtec signal wire and the vtec clicks so i know it at least works. I checked the screen and its clean and not clogged..Double and triple checked the wiring its good. i cant figure it out and its driving me nuts. the only thing wrong with the whole car is that my cluster is messed up. It says im 10mph over what im driving. But i do not beleive that to be the VSS because it still reads a mph and isnt jsut at zero. Any suggestions on what to check would be totally awesome

 

i had a similiar problem 1 time...i didnt have ehough oil pressure and engine was to cold also. That could be it?? make sure you have enough oil pressure. Are you sure wiring is correct also?
