I did a MPFI conversion on my 91DX Hatch. I am getting code 16 and after trobleshooting I realized that injectors 2 and 4 are not working. I have checked my wiring about 20 times to make sure that Inj #2 is plugged in at A3 and that Inj # is at A7 and they still dont work. Inj #1 and 3 are working just fine. I really dont know what else to check. Any ideas? I really need to get the car running because my other car was totaled. BTW, I already put 2 new injectors in and still no luck.


The cars starts and runs but it is running in limp mode.

I checked for continuity and there are no problems there. The injectors just dont have power going to them. This sucks. I have a conversion harness I purchased from the rywire site, should I have switched wires around

 

When the manual asks if there is battery voltage are they refering to 12V?

 

yes 12 volts, when the injectors are firing the ecu makes and breaks connection to ground similar to a coil firing.

 

Do I have to checjk this while the engine is on or justy have the key in the ignition at III.
