Default Help To Distinguish Between Head and Cams

My buddy ordered a type R head and is now paranoid that its not. What obvious ways can you tell between type r cams and head between Si cams and head? We have the head in front of us, so we have easy access to tell. The code on the head is PR3-3. Please list all ways to tell if the head and cams he has is type R. Thanks in advance.

the cams will have 2 grooves cut into them around the end of the camshaft. They are at the distributer side of the cam shaft. Im not sure if all of the itr cams have this but i do know that the later ones do.
