Help me get rid of my stutter please...
A while back my '00 Si had a stutter... for about 8 months... couldn't figure it out... here's everything i replaced...
4 sets of plugs
2 sets of wires
Fuel Filter
Fuel Pressure Regulator
Fuel Pump
Fuel Rail
Distributor
Coil
Distributor Cap
Distributor Rotor
ECU
MAP Sensor
My mods are as follows
Cold Air Intake
Test Pipe w/ o2 bung
Greddy SP Exhaust w/ 2.5" piping
UR Kevlar Clutch
Now the damn stutter is back... basically if i take off at a really low RPM and get on the gas it does it a little... if i STUFF the throttle at low RPMs, it stutters all the way up, but if i baby it until about 4k rpms its fine... any ideas?
BTW... last night i threw a code 1 (o2) in addition to my normal code 67 (No Cat)... i reset the ECU and it hasn't come back yet... could a bad o2 cause that?
I have the exact same problem right now! What did u replace which fixed it the first time?? Maybe i can try it since ive tried many things and have not fixed it yet.
i have the same problem, cept it happens passed 3k, and it happens if i smash to pedal, or ease it. i dont have any check engine light codes thrown though.
i need help too.....anyone?

the first time it ended up being that i was replacing the wires with bad wires...
The other night i went and pulled the plugs and they were WHITE as a ghost. So i cleaned them off, put them back, started that car up, and it ran good for a minute...
so then i decided to walk around the back of the car and stick my hand in front of the muffler to catch the fumes to see if they smelled rich or not... i had my friend give it one rev and i look at my hand, and this is what i see...

Oil! I'm assuming i need new rings, but i dont think thats the cause of the stutter like that, b/c it only really smokes at WOT... i assumed maybe that was because of no cat trapping some of the fumes, b/c its always done that... any other suggestions? could my o2 be covered in oil and thats causing this problem?? Can i clean my o2 with carb cleaner or something for now?
