Help Installing Greddy EGT probe

Default Help Installing Greddy EGT probe

I need help on installing my egt probe..as you can see from the pics..I have egt probe sensor, two fittings, and the ring.



My question is...how do i get the probe to stay in the fitting? Isn't there suppose to be something there to hold the sensor in place?

When I have everythign assembled seen in the picture below:



I can easily pull the sensor out seen in this picture:



How do I keep the probe in place?

1.) Slide the compression nut onto the probe.

2.) Slide the sleeve piece (far right) onto the probe with the smaller side facing away from the probe tip.

3.) Thread the compression nut onto the non-tapered side of the steel fitting. When you tighten that compression nut down, it'll lock the probe into place so that you can't pull it out.
