Hey there everybody! im all new to this forum.. I've got a 1994 Accord EX-R, with v-tec engine. Ok it isnt new, i've got some bodywork to do on it, but i live in quebec so it isnt surprising.. I plan to keep it for about 4-5 years.. The engine is 174 000 km, starting knocking when its warm, losing compression.. Well there is alot of work on it!
I was thinking about swapping it for a DOHC prelude engine (1997-2000) or DOHC accord (99 i think..) Like most of the people out there i am looking for more power than stock, but still i am willing to sacrify some of it for reliability.. Its an everyday driving car, not a racing one, but still i enjoy the sporty rides from time to time! Anyone made the swap that can help me out!? At least explain me wich would be the better one to chose for long term utility..
