i just bought a jdm gsr transmission from a friend. according to him, the tranny came with lsd. how would i know for sure if it is? i did some research and all i found out is the hold where the shaft is placed is suppose to be locked or is it suppose to be open? please help!

 

you should be able to see straight through the the tranny were the axles go. if it is not an lsd tranny you will see a rod the goes diagnally through that hole
