Help! How to install a slave cylinder.
Hey,
Just wondering how to install a slave cylinder on a 1994 Integra LS. Mine is slowly leaking and needs to be replaced. Thanks in advance!

Wich one is leaking, the slave cylinder or the clutch master cylinder? The "common" part to leak is the clutch master cylinder. Look under the dash where the rod goes into the firewall, if you see fluid leaking inside the car then it ia bad as well. Anyway to answer your question... Just unbolt it, pull the 10mm line off. Bolt on the new one. Then the bleeding.. This is esier with 2 people. One to pump simi rapidly while the other person watches for air coming out of the hose that you put on the bleeder nipple, and run it into a glass. Watch the fluid level closly in the resivoir. Keep bleeding until you see no more air bubbles. Tighten the bleeder valve, and make sure the clutch pedal feels right.
just a suggestion: you might want to use a vice grip to get the line fittings off. i tried to use a 10mm open ended wrench, and it just rounded the **** out of it. if you don't have those wrenches that are kinda closed on the end so it looks more like a C than a U (i forget what they're called), be careful.

yeah the clutch master cylinder is the one that normally gives out. i have to replace the master cylinder in my Civic cause it's been leaking slowly for awhile now. it's not too big of a job. just follow what was already stated.
as for the clutch slave cylinder, that should be even easier to replace than the master cylinder.
