I recently acquired a 92-95 ex vtec head for a mini-me project i was wonderin if theres any way to identify it by the numbers stamped on the exhaust manifold side?? Im askin cause i wanna make sure it is a vtec head...i think the numbers were p08????????not sure and i dont have it here with me

 

Check if it has a VTEC solenoid.

 

yes it does have a vtec solenoid ,but i still want to know what year it is.Thanks

 

there should be some circles with numbers stamped into them,

the 1st two are the year the head was manufactured...
