HELP!!!! H22 starter problems

I just finished my H22 swap today. When i fired it, it ran good for about 10 seconds then the cylinder #1 spark plug cap POPPED out, and the the car died and the check engine light came on. I tried starting it again but the starter would just turn. Does anybody know what went wrong.

You should probably check the coil

what is the code for the check light? what is the spark plug cap?
