Help, Fuel Filter....
Just plug your eyes, turn your face away from the filter, and unbolt
That's how I know to do it. You can keep a rag around it as you're unbolting to keep fuel from spraying too much.
EDIT: I'm sure there's a better way though, if you don't feel comfortable doing what I said then wait for an expert

That wont do anything, it disables the injectors too. You could unplug the fuel pump, but why bother?
