Hello people, im new here, but i have a question, and i need them answered immediatly! My engine surges in my CRX!! It never did this when it was stock, and when i swapped my motor, it just started to do it! about a week after?

Well on my intake manifold, there is the Fast Idle Valve, i dont have it hooked up because i dont know where to put it on my ECU!!

could this be the reason that my engine surges at idle!!! it goes from 1k to almost 2k, and it gets to be real annoying, and it only does its sometimes, been doing it alot latly tho!!

could it be my timing? or do i need to replace my distributor cap, and rotor?

Someone please help me, this is the most annoying thing ever!!!
