Default Help! Distributor frankstein!

Hi all,

I drive a OBD1 P72 B18C 93 JDM DC2 Type SI (GSR) Honda Integra.

I live in Asia, hence the 1st year run date of the DC2 model.

My Tech Issue
My car would crank but not start over the weekend, so i got my wiring looked at and replaced accordingly. Wires were exposed, frayed, not making connections etc etc.

I got a replacement wire harness off a B20 (most likely CRV B20) distributor. Got all to mesh in together all nice and neat. Now the car starts, yay!

But right after that when i was driving it around, i noticed that VTEC comes in weak. Could that be due to low ignition timing? Feels like the car doesn't want to accelerate. Like an invisible force is pushing my foot back when i lay into the throttle.

Even the sound of VTEC is pretty weak, no "kick" when crossover occurs.

Please help! Anyone with any similar experiences and/or technical information would be greatly appreciated!

PS. There was an extra wire harness on my B18C dizzy which we salvaged as the B20 dizzy didn't have it. They are however totally unrelated by connection.

No the is not giving me any CEL codes.
