Default Help Converting 9005 to Low Beam

I know how to do this but my question is how the hell do you remove those 2 notches. I have no access to a grinder or anything type of chisel tool. So what other stuff can I use to be able to remove the 2 notches inside the and shave off the outside???? I have tried using a nail filer and it doesn't work either Thanks for any help.

got some nail cutter?
those work wonderfuly well, should try it.
remember there are different style the long one and the folding one.
the folding obviously does not work. Only the long one w/ a small head to make the clerance to cut the two plastic thingy in the middle.
go nuts

Hehe no I don't have any sort of tools like that also. Is there anything else that would do it with ease without spending that much money???? Cuz this is just only a one timer I don't want to spend on something that I won't use often. Thanks for your help and any other help.

I actually use a generic utility (stanley) knife.. rather than actually trying to cut it, stick the blade in there and kinda pry with it against the side housing... Worked the best for me!

I have the X-acto knife deluxe $15 set that has a chisel type blade insert which worked beautifully.

I have used my girlfriend's mother's Dremmel so many times this year, I consider it adopted.

Sure does make EVERY project seem easier. Plus it's FREE!

My recommendation: get a girlfriend, raid her parent's garage when you need stuff.
