help cold outside car will not warm up
ive changed bunch of things already and nothing i changed thermostat 3 times all from honda. ive changed the radiator and the cap . ive flushed the system with water and air pressure ive removed the cable on the hot/cold switch valve near the firewall in the engine bay to hot so i wouldnt have to change it inside.both the hoses are hot. i hear the blower motor working in all positions. also my temp gauge stays around 1/4 does not even hit half way somtimes it does when the car is just idling for like 20 mins then right when i drive it it goes back down. help please
Since you did everything else, check your coolant temperature sensor, first check the wiring to make sure it's connected and/or not shorting out somewhere then you may want to try replacing that. Normally I would think it would allow the car to run hot if it's not running but it's still an important part to the cooling system.
