help code 91 fix using potentiometer
did a swap 96 integra motor into a 96 civic dx hatch. the hatch didnt have a fuel tank pressure sensor so now i have code p0453 also known as code 91. i decided to do the potentiometer trick. i used the ff-tech site but found it a little confusing. i guess the potentiometer has 3 pins. am i supposed to find a 5 volt source and connecting it to the potentiometer? then have a wire coming from another pin going to a ground? then the middle wire will go into the ecu correct? if that is what im supposed why is the ecu pin d10 and d11 mentioned?

this is the site im refering to. im basically just wondering if there are supposed to be any wires going back into the ecu besides the d15/2.5v wire

Looking at the page you listed says that D10 is your 5V source, D11 is ground on those models, and D15 is your sensor pin. Hook the Pot like it says, +5V to one of the outside pins, ground to the other outside pin, and make sure you measure 2.5V on the middle pin in relation to ground before you hook it up to ground.
You really do not have any 5V sources anywhere else in the car but from the ECU, and its better to use the same ground and source so that the 2.5V you see is 2.5V to what the ECU sees.

ook so the d10 is the pin that sends out the 5v. so d11 is a ground from the ecu into the potentiometer? i think im way off with this question for some reason
I do not have a pin out for the ECU, you will need to find one on how to locate those pins. D10, D11, & D15 are pins on the ECU but you will need a diagram to find out where they are. Try searching for one, or maybe someone else has one. Then you just hook up the pot as noted in the other thread.
