Default Code 91

Alright fellas, I got code 14 squared away. Now its code 91 which is EVAP fuel tank pressure sensor low or high. I was looking at the pinout for the civic plug D and it has a wire called ptank. I have the haynes manual and it says the ptank wire is LT GRN on plug D15. I looked at my harness and the wire is missing. Looked in the haynes and it says (coupe ex) under the fuel tank pressure sensor. Does this mean the 97 dx civic doesn't have a fuel tank pressure sensor? Also the car fires up and idles. If I push the gas pedal down slow it will accelerate fine, but if I just hit wot it will die. Is this because the cat and second 02 sensor is not hooked up? Thanks guys

I am running a p75 ecu. I checked my gas cap and its good, reset the ecu and code still came up. I'm pretty sure it has to do with the fuel tank pressure sensor. I really don't care about the light, just wondering if it will throw the ecu in some safe mode or something.

its funny because my friend has the same problem with his car. same year car and all, running a p73 ecu. i havent really looked into it yet. my guess would be that the itr ecu is wanting to sense more pressure in the gas tank and since he is running a stock fuel pump, its not getting the pressure it needs. i dont know, if we figure something out i will let you know.

i know what it is!
there is a plug that i have on my charcoal canister(not sure that is what it is called)
but it's the one with the vacuum lines connected to it right under your battery
you should have one v-line running to the driver's side of the car and the other running to the evap sensor on top of the intake manifold
well newer civics have a sensor/plug on the charcoal canister
mine is a 98 and has it and my freinds is a 97 and he doesn't have one
my guess is that you have an ecu that requires that sensor/plug and that is the wire you are missing
glad the iac rewiring worked out for you
sense 91 is such a strange code for some people on this board (my code manual had it - that's how i could tell you exactly what it was anyways)i assume that it is for newer model civics with this plug on the charcoal canister
bingo go get a evap canister off of an integra.....u will have to cut a piece of plastic and make a t for the hose (ull see what I am talking about)...some times I saw the code some times it went away...havent seen it since I did this
