Icon3 HELP! code 20

i have a 92 teg with a b20b vtec it has a p72 ecu in it......and its throwin code 20(eld) and map sensor and i changed the map sensor and it still throwing it....i duno what to do....know of anything to try?

If you changed map sensors and it still throw it... Wiring.

Disable ELD.

im guessing u have to chip the ecu to disable that correct? ive never had this happen b4..

Yup. I think your 92 doesn't have provisions for that. That code won't effect you much, but definitely fix the map sensor problem.

Code 20 shouldn't cause that. Map sensor will, obviously.

ive never seen an ecu like the one that is in it.....it has like two circuit boards in it...?

IT does....JDM more than likely. Fix your MAP sensor issues and codes. The Code 20 will not effect Vtec.

check your wires that connect to your ecu...

it was the wiring.....but it bogs out everytime u slam a gear then the check engine light pops on the goes back out.....could the ecu just need chipped?
