Default Help: Changing Distributor Plugs from 2 Plug to 1 Plug

Ive searched around and cant find a picture diagram for this. I need a picture or something to explain exactly which wires go where. The wires do not match up perfectly. Also, I know people repin them but anyone that has done this will notice that the OBD2 pins are not the same as the OBD1 Pins. How do you get by that?

all the wires fit in the single plug except for the big Blue and the Black/yellow... just color match all the other wires....

Man If it was that simple I wouldnt of asked. I dont think any wires match except for the Blue and Black/Yellow. I have a pic that I found while searching and I got all but two of my wires done that way. The other two left on the OBD1 Dizzy are colored light orange or pink and then light orange or pink/blue stripe. I think on the OBD2 Harness piece there were a green and another color left over.

a quick fix is to just swap out the whole harness from your original dizzy to the new one you just got.

d fox, thanks for the tech help!

postings with, "My friend said, my friend did, I heard, one time it looked like", and "go get a helms", should be posted in the riceboy forums.
next time when you post in the tech section, try posting usable knowledge.]

like so:

j87w, this might help you out a little?
