I have a B16 motor and last night I swap my camshafts into gsr camshafts, I didn't adjust the valve that well and it was ticking really loud plus coolant was getting into the head for a while but it seem to have stop. Anyways at a stop sign earlier I forgot the car was still in 3rd so I tried to go but the cry died out, and it won't start back up no more. Any ideas what might be wrong?

 

you torq them to specs? loud ticking means you need to adjust valves.

 

not yet but would that be the problem tho? Could it be my distribitor or ignition coil?

 

could have slipped a timing belt tooth check that first.

 

coolant in the head???????????? by changing the cams??????????? that is a first .... check the cam timing you may have jumped timing... do you have spark???

 

I kno I thought that coolant thing was weird too. No spark, just swaped in my friends working distribitor still that doesn't seem to be it. I guess I'll try to check the cam timing tmw. Is there any other possible reasons?
