Default HELP!!! cant get timing belt on?

I am using a gsr timing belt, b16 head and b16 waterpump and the timing belt does not even look close to fitting and this is with the ls tensioner all the way down/loose. Is the ls belt longer than a gsr belt? Any ideas on how to get the belt on with out ******* the timing belt up?

confused

If the tensioner is loose then you should have no problem putting that t-belt on just so long as you have it routed correctly... Good Luck

If you're using a b16 water pump...shouldn't you be using a b16 timing belt? If you're using a gsr water pump you could get the belt to fit.

All VTEC water pumps are the same... (22 teeth) nonVTEC is the exception and is different (17 teeth)... The B18C t-belt is what you would use on an LSVTEC with a VTEC water pump... Peace
