Default HELP!!! Cable Reel Installation

Whats up HT members,

I have a 96 Integra LS 2DR. It was recently stolen and the thieves broke my cable reel, which caused my SRS light to remain on constantly. I happened to find one that fits my car on eBay. The only problem is that I've never done it before and have no idea on how to put it in. Any help that you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Keep revvin hard...thanks

well first u have to make sure the steering wheel is straight. make sure th enew cable real is perfectly centered cuz if not to many turns on oneside will cause the reel to bind and snap . remove the air bag remove the steering wheel. and youll see the reel and just follow where the harness to the reel goes to. and you should be good. hope that helps you out a lil.

Some cable reels have indexing marks to get them centered.
