Default Electrical Problems

My 2001 Honda is having problems with the Horn, Cruise Control, and the SRS light is on ive tried resetting the SRS light but it comes out i read here that it could be the Cable reel, if i buy that would everything work and which part is actually the cable reel?

Default Re: Electrical Problems (Degameth)

sounds like a cable reel problem but first i would check the srs code and if it is a cable reel code then i would bypass the cable reel with a jumper wire or just simply use the simulator tool honda provides.

the cable reel is a wound rainbow strip that sits behind the steering wheel and allows your electrical parts to rotate with the steering wheel.

id recommend not toying with srs components unless u know what your doing especialy since youll have to disconnect the inflator thats on the steering wheel.
i think you should bring it to the dealership, theyre always best when it comes to this kinna stuff.
