i have a 93 civic si. I took off the a/c system and put it back in. I replace with a used ac compressor. Now it works off and on. It works one day and it does not.

any help well do. I was just think replacing the compressor but do i need a drier or etc. Thanks

 

what is your high side pressure and what is the ambient temp? it should be at about 160 psi at 80 degrees and 1000 rpm.

If you don't know the basics of A/C work, you'll really need to find somebody that can help you.

 

Try to clean the compressor and if that wasn't the problem, probably the a/c unit. Try to check your wirings too.
