Default HELP!! broke a water pump bolt

I was taking out a water pump bolt out of my h22 and i snapped it, and was wondering if anyone nose of a good way of taking it out, it was one that snapped near the engine mount, and snapped right flush with the block, any tips would be great..

Drill the stud out and re-thread it would be the best way.

you are going to have to take out the motor to get a drill at that. best bet is to get a dremmel cut it so you can try a flat head on it in a scoket rinch
good luck

Maybe if you loosend the front and driver side mount and jack the motor up you could probably get some clearance.

Got it, i bought the best set of bits and broke about 10 and bought more, i ended up retreading it with a standard 1/4" fine thread bolt, because when i was drilling it out i got some of the thread. Thanx for the input/////
