Hi guys,

I started my car today and heard what sounded like valves hitting the piston.
The car was still running but barely idle. I shut down the car and open up the valve cover and looks like the cam gear slipped. I tried to manually crank the crankshaft but couldn't get it to move to tdc. I also notice that the engine shifts when trying to spin the crankshaft manually. I'm sure valves are bent but can it be worst since I couldn't spin the crankshaft? I didn't want to start the car since I couldn't spin the crankshaft and readjust everything to TDC. Please help...

Hi guys,
It maybe worst than I thought. The head is off and I don't see any piston damage. The valves are all in one piece but can't tell if it's bent. Now the bad news. I still can't spin the crankshaft manually back to TDC. I can manage to get 1 and 4 about half way up but it won't move any further. Does this sound maybe a bent connecting rod(s) or can it be worst and maybe a damage crankshaft? Man, this sucks! I pretty upset about this... I appericate any advise.
