Default help!

Well after installing my Exedy twin clutch and what i thought would fix any clutch issues i was having it seems no diff. when i rev the car up in gear with the clutch depressed it starts to move forward at like 6k. not just a little i mean it really lunges. i haven't road tested it yet cause its off the road for the winter.
I have changed everything on this god dam car, cable, pedal assembly and cage, you name it i've tried it. i never had this problem with my d-series trans in the same car. any suggestions. is this normal? it just doesn't seem right. i don't want to drive this thing and be locked out of gear at 9500 rpm like i was with my single disc clutch.

Last year left me very discouraged when everytime i went to the track i could not shift this thing. anybody have suggestions?

BTW its a YS1 trans. i have tried 2 diff trannies and no dice...wtf!

sounds to me like it needs to be adjusted out more. can you feel it completly disengage with the clutch down? if the vechile moves at all then there is some contact in the tranny on the clutch plates. what throwout bearing r u using?

Hey Dave
the best thing i can tell ya is it sounds like an adjustment issue
maybe the cable is stretched or ready to brake, and the load u put on it is not fully releasing/disengaging the clutch

stupid things ill throw out there, you said it did this both on d and b series, so first question is the cable the same cable, pedal same? is the pedal assembly in good shape my buddys crx was breaking so it flexed enough not to fully disengage

is there anything stupid u think u might have missed, if the cable housing is jacked up, it could cause not for full extension, Have someone watch it, (the transmission arm) see how far it moves, and then see if the can move any farther after pushing clutch in, with prybar or something

good luck dave
hope to see ya at the races soon

dan
