I want to order a helms manual for my car (EG hatch with a 97 GSR motor) but I've never seen a helms manual before and I am not sure which one I need:

I am pretty sure it is the first one.. but will that cover the electrical, too? If it does, then what is the electrical troubleshooting manual for?

You'll want one for the Civic too if you don't already know your way around that.

 

you're gonna want the service manual. the owner's manuals are the ones you put in your glove box.

the electrical troubleshooting manual (ETM) is pretty indepth on EVERY electrical circuit on/in the car. they're kinda hard to understand. the service manual will have all the wiring diagrams and every electrical component as well, just dosen't go as deep into the wiring as the ETM.

i'd suggest getting just the service manual at first. i'm sure it'll cover everything you need to know electrically. if not, you can order the ETM later...
