When the tires break free (burning out for a prolonged time ) I get heavy knocking & shaking coming from the engine bay to the extent that it forces open the glovebox...It never used to do this...and it is most noticeable when in the rain. What could it be? Transmission/Clutch/Axle? -- I learned my lesson. PLEASE HELP me fix my baby ;-(...

get urathane bushings for the motor mount

Better shocks if you don't have them already, help out as well!

 

if u have an aftermarket clutch that is slipping, sometimes it will cause your dash to shake alot to the extent where your glove box can open up.

 

I think he has at least on bad motor mount. maybe both the front and back ones. Wheel hop or not there shouldn't be banging sounds under the hood.
