Heater questions......????
I just recently installed a new heater core in my car and decided to try it out.
I put an OEM full length dual core radiator in my car when I first put it together and I have yet to use teh heater because the heater core I had leaked. Well this morning I let my car warm up and hop in and turn the heater on it blows nice and hot for the first mile or so. Well here is my problem......I thing my radiator is too big to support a heater because after I get going my radiator cools my car soo muych when it is cool outside (it was like 40-50's outside this morning, I dunno for sure) that my water does not get warm enough to heat the air
have any of you had a similar problem and what did you do about it?

hmmmm, I don't think that would be the problem because I never had this problem until I hooked my heater up yesterday.
T-stats are cheap so I will try that today after class and see what happens......hopefully it fixes the problem

Are you sure the cooling system isn't getting hot? (temperature gauge) Maybe it's simply air in the heater core? Or what about the cable/linkage that controls the heater valve?
guage stays buried on the cold side, cables are hooked up correctly, they are brand new and teh air in teh heater core would have nothing to do with the air that is comng out.........when I am sitting still the air is nice and warm and teh cars temp stays nice and firm.....the problem only comes when I am moving and there is moving air around to cool the engine and water
