Default Heater lines

For those without no heater core, do you just loop your heater hoses on the motor? or do you plug it? Which one works better?

I recirculated mine when I had a heater core leak.

if im not mistaken, one side of the heater core is pre thermostat and the other side is post thermostat, so it would be best to plug them off.
