i did the same stupid mistake.....i took some pliers and tried to round it back as best as possible...not easy but it might work for you also.....slip the hose all the way to the back of that pipe and use a new hose clamp right at the back of the hose....it should be ok.
i did this same thing but flattened it with pliers... tried to reshape it but wasnt happy how it looked, so i bypased it.(no heat) I plan to replace it eventually.
Find something with the same outside diameter as the inside diameter of the "outlet", use it to help roundout the outlet, it does not have to be perfect, as mentioned use a new hoseclamp, slide new hose all the way up to the firewall and and clamp it tight, you should not need any "sealer", but it can't hurt.

Let it be a warning for those who tackle the job of taking the heater hoses off.
The best way to remove baked on hoses is to make an incision w/exacto knife along the pipe and peel it off by hand. Hoses cost less than the heater core and one gets peace of mind that they will not fail any time soon after replacement.
As to fixing the pipes, it's a 50/50 chance there will be no leak. Even if there is no leak at first, I can almost guarantee there will be one in the near future.
Good luck anyways.
