Default headwork Q's and ECU tuning mumbo/jumbo

Sup fellas! I just want to know how many people here had there b series cyl heads chambers welded pent roof style ? you guys have any regrets?

2nd Question is, what kind of set-up do you people recommend for an application with itr valvtrain/cams /headwork/hi compression due to miling and welding on there ECU'S ? I hope you guys can give me a good idea on what ecu to run and what goodies i need to make it run right and maximize the itr cams potential...

thanks in advance !

I can't help you out on your first question because I don't have any personal experience with welded combustion chambers.

As for the 2nd question, a lot of people run the mugen P28 program. This program also works on other 92-95 vtec ecu's ...not just the P28. It's good power making program, only downside is that it lowers your gas mileage, but hey, you gotta trade of somewhere when gaining hp for an engine build up.

(plug time)

If you need an ecu upgrade click on my link below for information...i can provide reprogramming services to 89-95 ecu's only. If you have a 96-01 civic/integra I cannot reprogram those ecu's but I do sell ecu jumpers which allow you to adapt an OBD1 ecu into your car...

Pent roof......aren't all current honda engines of a pent roof design already?

To maxamize power with itr cams, just run an itr ecu. I don't think you really need the mugen program. Might as well stay with an OEM ecu if you are using OEM cams.
