Default headlights on and no cluster & tail lights help!

Like the title says, when i turn on my headlights the cluster lights and tail lights go out. Checked the fuses and no blown fuses. The cluster and tail lights only work when the headlights are not turned on.

Your combination light switch, [head light switch] is bad. 94

What do you mean by the running light relay. Where is this relay found. Only thing I found was the running light fuse located under the dash near the pedals.

pretty sure it's the headlight switch but don't want to buy it if it ain't the problem. So i want to check all the possiblities first.

You need to test the output from the switch.

What is the MM&Y of the car?

The park light output from combination light switch on most Honda/Acura is a red/green, (12V+). 94

on my 1990 cx, the running light relay is on the passenger side of the car, under the dash, attached to a bracket that is bolted to the center console steel support.

hope that makes sense.
