I'm trying to tuck the headlight harness on a eg hatch (passenger side) but in order to bring the wires back in the cabin i need to drop the blower assembly because theres not enough room. And i have a full working a/c system and don't want to evacuate it (last choice) if i have to drop the Evap first.

When removing the WHOLE blower assembly under the dash, does the Evap assembly come off first in order to remove the blower? or i could just unbolt the blower assembly?

any feed back or tips on how you guys tucked the passenger headlight harness on a eg with A/C?

 

I'm fairly certain the 92-95 blowers require evaporator removal to replace the blower motor. 96-00 do not. 88-91 definitely require removal.
