Headgasket Question
yes..my friend was stumpted to why it was leaking oil, and when I saw this I immediately knew it was on *** backwards. We are pulling the head next week sometime and flippin it around.
The headgasket has been on there for about 500 miles or so. Is it okay to reuse it?

Oh my bad... I didn't even really read your first post... I meant "yup" as tho you said is this on right... It's on perfectly fine... My bad for the inconvenience... If it's leaking make sure that the block and head are straight... You can check this yourself with a straight edge and feeler gauges... Just make sure it is within spec... As for the headgasket DO NOT resuse it.. Once it has been torqued it's not the same... buy a new one and make sure that it is torqued correctly... Working from the inner out and in several incriments.. If using stock headbolts i normally go 22 several times around then 45 several times around then 63 a couple times.... Make sure you go around several times.. as you tighten the outers the center will loosen again... That is why i go around several times at the same torque... Good Luck
