HEADER WRAP ?
gsrxemep3 I hear wrap does help with keeping the heat and getting it away from the motor, so to say the least, its not pointless. I usually wrap mine if im bored and got nothing else to do lol unless I have some nice *** headers that I like the look of hah
I've used it before and it's fairly decent if you have a mild steel header that you don't want to rust up. For the price point it's hard to beat. I did a quick spray bomb job with it on the calipers on our racecar and it seems to be holding up fairly well to the extreme temperatures.
I have always preferred jet-coatings for headers. They last a long time and look quite a bit better than the VHT paint, the downside is that obviously it costs more and you have the down time associated with sending your part off to be coated. http://www.jet-hot.com/

Heat wraps good, obviously keeping all the heat in and away from the engine, its always a good thing to keep engine bay temperatures down.
The only downside to it i guess is it CAN cause the manifold to crack, I've seen it a few times, but not so often
