Default header rap on intake

i was wondering if i wraped my cai would it stop heat from getting intake hotter?

has anyone else done this and if so got pics too.

Once the engine gets to a certain temperature the wrap would just hold in the heat of the intake piping. Best bet is to wrap the sources that produce heat like the exhaust, because it will help heat from soaking into things like the intake and it will also keep the exhaust gas hotter which means that the exhaust can escape quicker.

It also depends on what kind of induction setup you have. Someone that deals w/ turbos might be able to chime in on if its beneficial to wrap the intake charge when theres a high heat producer right near the intake like a turbo. I don't have any experience w/ that though so I won't guess.
