What the best bang for the buck ?
DC jdm , comptech, jdm oem itr, pacesetter
(of course i am joking!)
i am gona be buying one for my C5 soon and just looking at different options.

In terms of best bang for the buck, I'd say JDM DC 4-1, 289 @ http://www.speedandstyle.com I think.
In terms of best header (under $500) I would say comptech or JGEdelbrock
