Head swapping???F22 to a H22???
These two heads "should" be directly replaceable if I am correct that they share the same block and clearances... Has anyone done it or have insite on it?
Things I can think of that will go along with it would be a new timing belt unless for some reason it would work for both. I would also need a Vtec solonoid/controler, and a ecu from the car that had the head...
Question 1:Anyone know if headers and intake manifold are compatable??
Question2:Are H22 heads made only in SOHC Vtec, or are there DOHC's out there as well?
Question 3: the idea behind this is it would be less troublesome than a full engine swap, am I wrong?
Thanks!!

i believe the face that he gave you was because the h22 is a dohc vtec. there is no h22 sohc. you will need a new timing belt, you will have to wire in the distributor, get a new intake manifold, get a header that will have to be custom fit to the rest of your exhaust. you will have to figure out how to wire in the crank position sensors, and you will most likely have to get some new drive belts, cause i am sure if you want to keep the power steering you will also need the power steering pump from the h22 as well. i don't know exactly where that one bolts up, but on my motor the bracket is attached to the head. then, of course you will have to hope the power steering hose connects to the pump the same on both motors. as far as the ecu, i don't think you need a different ecu, but i am not sure. i believe you just need the vtec controller, which will have to be wired in. all in all, save your money and just buy the swap. it comes with everything you need.
