Head swap ???
This is a question for all people who have some knowledge on engine tech. I know people who have installed the head of a Gsr engine
on their regular Ls blocks and they end up with the best of both worlds, all the bottom end torque of the Ls engine with the top end Vtec
power form the Gsr head, they put out like 170hp at the whells after the conversion ( It's called a frankenstein engine)
I was wondering if I could do something similar with my 1997 Civic Hatch, maybe put an Si Vtec head on my block to achieve the same
results.
If anybody knows the answer I would really appreciate the input, thanks!!!

The SOHC Vtech swap is called a "mini-me". Its becoming increasingly common, but i would suggest to just save your money for a DOHC swap. The DOHC engines have way more aftermarket support, and has more performance potential (no flames please). All depends on how much money you want to invest, and how fast you want to go
He lives in Canada so the Si is a EX the best mini-me swap is a crx si bottem end and any sohc vtec head it is possibly. i think you can buy a fully built long block for 2000 that's all motor i forgot how fast it's suppose to be
