Default Head studs with no lube?

i installed the studs with no lube. Will this be fine or do i need to redo it. Also does anyone know the torque specs for the cam holders, my manual says 20 ft/lbs but one of the bolts snapped, input greatly appreciated.

The lube is required for correct torque values.

asking again wont yield other answers, you're supposed to lube them to get them properly tightened.

If you never oiled the threads before torquing them, the torque specs will probably vary a little. Is it the end of the world? no. Yes you should oil them before you torque them just like you should only use head bolts once but people have used them more than that and been fine and I'm sure lots of people have forgot to oil the threads before installing them. You should do it properly but I'm sure you'll be fine if you didn't oil the threads.

As far as torque specs go, what does your manual say? Depending on what your car year and model is, you can cross reference it with information from here to check for accuracy:
