ok no ive come to a conclusion i need to either a be a fine as engine tuner or lower my compression someone please give me some pointers on how to get a ls vtec runnin 12.3 compression on 92 octane any pointers? any suggestions will be greatly appreciated what about using a cometic to lower the compression i ould like to stay high up but will that kinda solve my problem or just kinda lessen the problem

ps.i wanna run it high compression to keep the power high but i wanna be able to tune it in to run 93 94 octane which i run in my stock ls all the time now so please any kinda input is help

make sure all edges of the combustion chamber and piston tops are smooth and contoured in such a way that lends to detonation resistance (endyn and BISI have mastered this technique). run heat range 6 or 7 plugs, run a lower temp thermostat, oil cooler, get a j&s safeguard, manage the engine with a engine management with precisely tuneable zones, timing-wise and fuel map wise...**** dude bro dude, i run 13:1 with an afc, tuned ecu, big fuel pump, bigger injectors, cold plugs, tuning, and a girlfriend who is a drop dead gorgeous eye-talian...

tuning and adequate fuel is the key....unless you want to buy toulene in bulk.

Or, you can retard your timing.
