1992 Prelude S, 2.2L SOHC. Can someone tell me if the port that leads to the rear center head bolt from inside the overhead valve compartment has any real importance? I had to countersink about 2 inches into the head bolt cavity and install a Heli-Coil and that port is now blocked by my threaded insert.

 

Another issue with the 1992 Prelude S 2.2L. Sometimes in extremely hot weather,the car won't start. Wait until evening when it's cooler, starts right up. Any suggestions?
