i was currently given a sohc cylinder head. it did not come with a valvecover. how do i tell what model it is?? previous owner has no idea what it is. the spark plugs are located towards the exhaust side. thanx..

 

look for stampings on the head, vtec solenoid spot if any

 

thanx...would the vtec solenoid location be simialr on a sohc and a dohc motor??thanx for all the help and im sorry for the newb questionss....
