That's because Hondas have no tq. Escorts (esp. the LX) have crazy tq.

hp-130 tq-135

when i drove one i did a bit of reading on performance upgrades for these, not your basic exhaust and intake. but high end ported and polished heads, race transmissions, blocks, internals and all that ****.

my comclusion was that the parts were VERY expendsive however the motor is very respondsive stock and i couldnt imagine a turboed zx2 with build tranny and block and head and such.

yeah the S/R had a factory iceman CAI, borla cat back, B&M short through, Eibach lowering springs, and some type of after market shocks and struts. I am also thinking they had and energy suspension urithan set under them. The stock ZX2 was ok, but the S/R was actually pretty nice. Yes i did own one and yes to mod. them right is expensive.

Its just an axle back, not a catback.

not Super expensive, a lot of parts share in cougar/contour/focus/escape.

bolt-ons and good tune your looking at a high 14sec car if the owner can drive.
